“Todo Se Mueve”

“Movement is the basic principle of Life. From stars and planets to our thoughts and emotions, theres a vibrational frequency in everything we experience”.

I was home one night drawing and listening to music when my playlist started playing “Todo Se Mueve” by Calle 13. The lyrics of this song inspired me to create this image to express that everything in life has a vibration, it all moves in one way or another. I thought this to be a good representation of where I am at now setting things in motion to redirect my art style coming off of 7 years of mostly being focused on producing “Justice For Our Lives”, a portrait design series of 100 people killed by police. In my entire art journey, I have never maintained a specific art style everyone could recognize my work from. My growth has gone from realism, to geometric abstraction, to portrait art, and now to more animated and cartoon-ish approach. I took a while to formulate the way my human characters would look like which will be the main figures to show up in my work. I want to tell human stories which I believe is the best way to communicate with people who interact with my work. I want my work to continue having social relevance and impact. I also want to create artwork that allows my followers to get better idea of who I am which my previous work hasnt been as effective in doing so. Here we go on a new creative journey. I hope yall enjoy and support my work.

Artwork available for sale as an NFT on opensea.io.
