“People”
I mentioned in a previous post about my new direction in art style. I have been working on formulating my approach with human characters and im pretty sure I got it locked in. My previous work was shape oriented so I decided to continue with that element as my defining style. In this piece I really just wanted to create different individuals standing next to each other so I could continue practicing on this front. Using different shaped facial features I am able to depict people from different ethic groups. So far my characters dont really have much expression besides looking surprised. I will keep working on that. This is one thing I love about art is delving deep into your process creating problems for you to solve. Ive really been needing this. Not only is it fun but its also stimulating.
