Ceasefire Now
It’s been 9 months of g3n0cide in Gaza. Currently, the official death toll that has been reported by the Gaza Health Ministry is above 38k but a recent study published by the medical journal, The Lancet, revealed that the current death toll could be estimated to exceed 186k when accounting for indirect deaths, which based on other conflicts can range from 3 to 15 times the number of direct deaths.
The current official death toll does not include unidentified bodies buried in rubble. In the long run, other factors like diseases from a destroyed health-care infrastructure, food, water, and shelter shortages, along with the loss of funding for UNRWA will continue to claim Palestinian lives. The current death toll estimated by The Lancet would amount to 8% of the Gaza population before October 2023.
An urgent CEASEFIRE and implementation of humanitarian aid like medical supplies, food, clean water, and other resources for basic human needs is required NOW!!!
